What you need to know
- Puerto Los Cabos Marina, La Playita — not downtown Cabo marina
- Fishing fleet: many boats leave around 6:00 toward the Gordo Banks
- The eastern Sea of Cortez is closer from this channel than from Cabo San Lucas
- If you are on the corridor, budget the transfer to La Playita
The harbor
San José does not board at downtown Cabo San Lucas marina. The fleet leaves from Puerto Los Cabos Marina in La Playita (Blvd. Mar de Cortés).
In the morning you see pangas and cruisers loading ice and bait; the first boats leave around 6:00. The Gordo Banks are closer from this channel than from Cabo, which is why marlin and tuna trips burn less time in transit. A non-fishing charter also leaves from this dock; it is not the Arch loop.
The exact meeting point, and any transfer, are on the listing. An access fee, if it applies, is declared by the operator.
Boarding and marinas

Questions and guides
¿Dónde se aborda en San José?+
La Playita, no el centro de Cabo
Marina Puerto Los Cabos, colonia La Playita, Blvd.
