What you need to know
- Palancar and El Cielo sit on the reef west of Cozumel
- From Playa del Carmen the ferry is about 45 minutes; the charter then leaves on the island
- There is more than one marina near the cruise piers; the operator names yours
- Time on the water is not the ferry crossing
The harbor
Cozumel is booked for the reef, not for a Cabo-style bay loop. Palancar and El Cielo are stops captains name when the sea allows; the order is built that day, not from a brochure.
If you are staying in Playa del Carmen, the ferry is about 45 minutes. The yacht or catamaran then leaves from a Cozumel marina (there are several near the cruise piers). Do not mix the ferry ticket with charter hours.
We are still opening the catalog here. The exact dock is on the listing when an operator publishes.
Boarding and marinas
The charter leaves in Cozumel, not from Playa del Carmen. If you cross by ferry (~45 min), add that time separately. No WTG listings published yet.
If there is a dock or park fee, it is on that outing’s listing.
Outings in Cozumel
No outings published in this harbor yet.
If you run boats here, ask to join. The harbor guide is up; the catalog fills with your fleet.
