Water experiences in Cancun

Harbor

Cancun

Isla Mujeres a 20–30 min de ferry. Un yate o catamarán no es ese cruce: es el día en el agua.

What you need to know

  • The Isla Mujeres ferry is 20–30 min (Puerto Juárez or hotel-zone docks)
  • Playa Norte is about a 10-minute walk from the island pier
  • A private charter is not a ferry ticket
  • The operator tells you which Cancún marina you leave from

The harbor

Cancún and Isla Mujeres are about 13 km apart. The ferry (Puerto Juárez, Playa Tortugas, Playa Caracol, or El Embarcadero on Kukulcán) takes 20 to 30 minutes. On the island, Playa Norte is about a ten-minute walk from the pier.

A yacht or catamaran is not that ferry, not the same price, and not the same day: it is your group on the water, often with beach time and snorkel if the captain builds that route. The Cancún dock is on the listing. We are still opening the catalog here.

Boarding and marinas

Cancún has several docks (Puerto Juárez and the hotel zone). Yours is confirmed by the operator. No WTG listings published here yet.

If there is a dock or park fee, it is on that outing’s listing.
